  1. I have both the Pacsafe travel jacket and its equally well-made travel vest.  I also have three travel vests from ExOfficio.  Pacsafe uses thicker material and I wear them during cooler seasons; while ExOfficio vests are thinner and I travel with them in warmer months.  Of all the travel jacket and vests I own, I like the Pacsafe travel vest the most.

  2. so I bought the vest and noticed theres like a bag of pebbles or some sort inside of the left side that you cant get to from the pockets. Did you notice anything like that?

  3. Does the jacket show the outlines of what’s in your inner pockets? The coat looks so form-fitting.

    which one would you rather?

  5. Pen pockets: for filling out visa and immigration forms when flying internationally. Has saved me hours by filling out the form ON THE PLANE instead of scrounging for a pen in an immigration hall. Watching 100 people line up before me because I lost time trying to find a pen is painful.

  6. Great review! Now I just need to decide on which one to get. Pacsafe is the best!

A double zipper is typically found in jackets that sit below the waist. When you sit down in a jacket like this, it can feel awkward so a double zipper allows you to zip up from the bottom a bit, allow the jacket to spread open at the waist when sitting. That said, it usually is found on heavier coats or those with stiffer materials and these seem like relatively lightweight so I'm not entirely sure how much benefit there would be. They do look very nice however, and I'm a huge fan of PacSafe. They put a lot of thought and research into their products, so if it's there, it is probably worth it. 🙂

Maybe the 2 zippers are for if you have a firearm on your waist or hip

  9. Have you tried scottevest? It would be interesting to see a comparison video.

I don’t carry a bag or purse so these would both be amazing for me! Yes even the pen pocket

I use the double zipper when I'm wearing long jackets/parkas. I usually zip it up when I have to sit down so I can sit comfortably.

When traveling I like to carry approximately 3 shirts and 3 pants and every night in the hotel I hand wash what I have worn and hang them up to dry. I carry some extra plastic hangers. From trial and error I found some material dries much quicker than others. Do you do that? Maybe you can do a video on the best clothes to carry traveling. I always carry a pen or two. Never know when you might need one ☝️
